What is Approach Journeys?

Approach Journeys is an app that allows you to create marketing campaigns based on your live data in Approach. Specifically, Approach Journeys is a customer engagement platform that helps marketers create and send personalized messages to customers using data collected from both your business and your customers.

Approach Journeys are fully database-integrated, so once you've built your campaigns, they will be completely automated behavioral-based responses to actions or objects in your environment. 




Approach Journeys also have tracking tools built-in so that all of the resulting data from your campaigns can be analyzed thoroughly.



 



How Can Approach Journeys Benefit My Gym?

The application of Approach Journeys for your business is far-reaching and it's abilities are diverse. According to Approach Journey's website, Journeys are, "Approach’s messaging interface! ... Journeys incorporates data from your customer touchpoints, helping you customize campaigns and send sophisticated, personalized messages that support and engage your audience.". 



Approach Journeys allows you to create messaging campaigns based on various customer journeys that your gym is pursuing. For example, let's say that you wanted to hone in on a 'focus group' within your customers using a specific set of parameters. A common group definition would be, "Everyone who has visited the gym once, and hasn't returned within 90 days" or "All customers with unused passes on their profiles". You could craft a marketing message to send to this pre-defined group of your customers to target them in your next campaign. In addition, Approach Journeys can track actions taken from that campaign such as the "open rate" or "conversion rate" of those messages.

Once you've created and defined a campaign, Approach Journeys will run the campaign based on that definition will full automation. This tool can be hugely influential in lowering attrition/churn rates in your business, as well as accelerating your customer's journey.
