Enhancement Updates 🚀
'Allow Check-in at any Location' Setting on Membership Types
New setting alert! We've added a new dropdown option to 'Limit Check-in Locations' when creating a Membership Type. If 'Allow check-in at any location' is selected, the membership type will allow check-in at any of your locations.
QR Check-in Queue
When a customer checks in via a QR code, then another checks in, there is now a queue. This is so when two customers check-in in quick succession, the info for the first will still be displayed.
For example
- Customer A checks in
- Customer B checks in very quickly after Customer A
- Customer B is added to the check-in queue
- Customer A's information is displayed despite Customer B checking in
- Then Customer B's information is displayed
Adjustments to Staff Role Permissions
We made a big change to Staff Permissions recently, with that we have adjusted some default role abilities in assigning other roles.
- Owner
- This role has the ability to assign anyone as Owner, Admin, Staff, and a custom role.
- Admin
- This role has the ability to assign any Staff, custom role, and other Admins.
- Staff
- This role does not have permission to assign or create Staff. This role has remained unchanged.
- Custom Role
- As long as the Admin section is enabled, this role has the ability to assign Staff and other custom roles.
3-Day Stay for Pending Notifications
For any Pending Notifications, 72 hours after their creation—if not moved to Previous Notifications—will be hidden. This is to prevent any lag in the app that could be caused by a buildup in the notifications.
Some examples of Pending Notifications
- New customer created via the Kiosk
- Failed Check-in alert
- Check-in awaiting approval
Bug Fixes 🐞
Rescheduling the End Date on a booking and the Portal- When an event's end date was rescheduled to an earlier end date, existing bookings after the new end date would still be visible in the Portal and in the Bookings list. It was still able to be booked! This creates an inconsistency so we added a blocker to prevent this!
Forms on Invoiced Events- There was a bug preventing the Form attached to an invoiced event from being sent to the Organizer and Guests unless the 'Email Unsubmitted Forms' was selected. It only makes sense for the Organizer and Guests to receive this automatically, so we squashed it!
Multiple QR code Check-ins- If a customer was checking in via a QR code and scanned it multiple times, it would check them in that amount of scans. Now, there will only be one check-in that processes.
